About Me

My photo
Cooking Diva
Lima, Ohio, United States
I have loved to cook ever since I can remember. I started cooking when I was 10. My mother loved to garden and this gave me the opportunity to cook while giving her more time to garden. Growing up in California, we have access to a wide variety of ethic cultures and their food. Within walking distance there was an oriental and Mexican market and the grocery stores carried a wide-variety of fresh produce. I frequently checked out cookbooks from the library and adventurously cooked recipes for my family. My dad still tells the story of the foil-wrapped chicken I cooked from a cookbook that had English on one page and Chinese on the opposite. The success of that dish at 15 sealed my love of cooking and the joy it still brings 40 years later. I hope you too find joy in exploring food and being adventuresome in cooking. Bon Appétit Pat Good
